Message from Bishop Wack

Remember the Indulgence!

In the early stages of the pandemic, Pope Francis offered to the world a Plenary Indulgence as a way of expressing God’s mercy during this extraordinary time of disease and suffering. This plenary indulgence is granted to those persons who have COVID-19 and to those who are quarantined or isolated due to the coronavirus. This includes those in the hospital, isolated at home, in a nursing care facility, and to health care workers – doctors, nurses, medical assistants, hospital/care facility staff, care givers, all family members affected by the disease and all those who are on the front lines of fighting the virus and keeping the community safe.

~

This plenary indulgence grants those who: express contrition/sorrow for their sins, who pray for an end to pandemic, and who unite themselves to the sufferings of Christ full forgiveness of their sins and the graces that would normally come with the reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

~

While a priest may not be able to visit or minister to you at this time, please Remember the indulgence and allow God to give you the graces and blessings which would normally be available through the Sacraments of the Church.  Remember the indulgence!

Please use care and common sense:

Wash your hands before coming; Wear a mask (homemade, bandanas, scarves, etc. are all fine); Sit at least 6 feet from others as marked in the pews; Only come if you are feeling healthy and safe enough. Bishop Wack's dispensation remains in effect and we are still livestreaming Sunday Mass.

Livestream Sunday Mass

We will be continuing to livestream Sunday Mass at 11:00 am. You can view it on our parish Facebook page (or, if you don't have Facebook, by clicking "links" in the menu above and selecting "Facebook.")

Message from our Pastor

On behalf of the parish, I want to say thanks to all of you for your support of our parish and in this time especially thanks to those of you who have been able to mail in offerings. I have gotten several in the mail this week. I am praying for all of you at my private Masses. Stay safe and thank you so much!

-Fr. Dominic
